LESSON IDEAS:
#1 – "Little by Little" team member coming in and talking to our classes during the CPR and first aid unit about her experiences in Haiti, and then students have to do a project about how to manage the first aid illnesses
#2 – students have to research Haitian foods and then make a Haitian recipe for the class (the nutrition unit)
#3 – Students have to research common Haitian illness (related to wither first aid or nutrition) and make a project out of it (PPT or poster etc.)
#4 – since soccer is very popular in Haiti – having an all KW soccer tournament for several days and each class has to wear a color of the Haitian flag as their uniform.
