GENERAL LESSON IDEAS: Voodoo and zombies. Background on voodoo.  The focus of the lesson, however, will be on the cultural/metaphorical significance of the zombie. Students will examine the zombie as a figure in voodoo, but also its manifestations through time in various films: White Zombie, 28 Days Later, etc.
